Export data to excel

Post by Yasin_Janem »

Dear administrator
warm greetings

I am currently working with HVSR data for my master's thesis in a multi-story building and am looking to analyze the variations in (Frequency versus amplification) across each floor. I would like to export these values into an Excel file for further analysis. Additionally, I am interested in extracting the value of the horizontal components (Frequency versus amplification) for each reading across all floors in order to perform some calculations. Could you please advise on the best way to achieve this?

I appreciate your prompt reply.

Best regards,
Yasin

hi Yasin_Janem
when you save results of HV analysis (tools --> save results) you obtain two txt files, *.hv and *.log .

The *.hv file contains all the data that you want to achive, like this

# Frequency Average Min Max
0.500337 1.42121 0.985726 2.04907

you can import in excel this files

Hi Mark,

The result wasn't accurate 100%, there is some difference between the numerical result and the graphical result, but many thanks for your clarification.
May I also know how to get this result of each component separately (Frequency vs. amplitude)?
