Hi Marc,
After the inversion, when I want to see the ground profiles, dinver just shows me the Vp models. Is it possible to show vs instead? I tried to modify it somewhere but unsuccessful to find such option

Hi Mike, The opacity is 1 as you can see in the attached screenshot. Also, it does not matter which file I am using, I do not get any results. Here is the complete log : Loading C:/School/PhD/Geopsy/Analyze with Geopsy-Dr. Coe/EX1(completed)/1001.sg2... wrong character: '.' error parsing time 'h:m:s...

Re: New masw problem with Geopsy releases above 3.0
Hi mark,
the same thing is happening to me. The F-K method is not showing the colored dispersion image. Any idea what could be wrong? It worked for me in the morning but suddenly it is not showing anything ( the log does not show any error).

Hi Mike,
I created a max file using HVTFA module but when i use max2curve, i get an which is attached. Any Idea why this is happening? I also used gpviewmax and I get error as well.

Marc,
this is what I got from your proposed model! does the result make sense??

Re: HVSR by having a soil profile?
Thanks, Marc for the information. Since we can model the HVSR recordings, is it possible to jointly invert for the soil profile velocity using HVSR and MASW data in Geopsy?

Re: HVSR by having a soil profile?
Thanks Marc. Based on what I got, Geopsy is capable of simulating hvsr using the Rayleigh wave ellipticity technique. Am I right? if yes, is there any example I can follow? any recommendation?

HVSR by having a soil profile?
Hi Marc,
Is it possible to get HVSR results based on a known soil profile? I mean somehow modelling the noise and drawing the soil profile and getting the HVSR results on any location on the surface?

Re: Getting dispersion from a soil profile?
Hi Marc, I noticed that I can use gpdc to get the dispersion curve out of my own 1D soil profile. This is the txt file that i use (I attached it here); basically, i want two layers over half space (3 layers overall) with these data: # depth vs vp density 2 200 400 2500 3 400 800 2500 0 2000 1000 250...

Getting dispersion from a soil profile?
Hi Marc, I was wondering if it is possible in geospy/dinver to define a soil profile (different layers with different velocities) and then get its dispersion? I am working on a borehole data and have calculated the velocities based on it. however, want to get the first idea of its dispersion before ...

Dispersion Correction
Hi All, I am kind of new to the Geopsy and dinver. While I am still trying, I faced an issue. This is the dispersion that I got from the geopsy: nb .jpg I have problem removing the line between the points that the mode changes ( line between points on the x value of 20 and 25)! if I remove points, t...
