Re: How to export values from Spectrum Rotate via Command Line
Hi, I have the same problem. Is geopsyhv with -slot 3 supposed to write out anything? geopsy -tool geopsyhv -slot 3 test.mseed -- -param test.log -save test -autowin When I use the gui version and specify the output directory, no results are written either. I'm using version geopsypack-2.10.1. Thank...

Batch option of dinver command line
Hi Marc, Just upgraded dinver to the latest version. I have seen that the "-batch" option of command line dinver is no longer available. Instead one can use "-optimization". Is it still possible to start several processes at the same time and create report files like *_0?.report ...

There are basically three ways to take into account the spherical earth: 1. Correct phase velocities empirically (don't have to change anything in dinver). Bhattacharyam, 1976 is showing a plot of that relation (Fig 1), but I also tried to find one by myself by simply generating random models (gppar...

We are using the program of Saito for the forward computation in a spherical earth. The problem may be that it is written in fortran and, more serious, that it needs much more computation time than computing velocities from a layered model in a flat earth. In order to take into account the spherical...

spherical earth and dinver
Hi Marc, I'm using dinver to invert phase velocities at longer periods (noise cross-correlation). From about 20 s period, it starts to have a significant effect on phase velocities whether they are computed from a flat or from a spherical earth model. I was just wondering if it would be straight for...
