A value can be subtracted from the signal amplitudes (e.g. to remove constant shifts of signals). On selecting "Suppress DC" from menu "Waveform", a dialog box like the one displayed in figure 1 is shown.
If "Mean value" is selected, the value to be subtracted is the arithmetic average of the amplitude signal calculated over the whole signal duration. If "value" is selected, the value entered in the field is subtracted from all samples. It might either positive of negative.
