When loading a multi-column ASCII files without header, the metadata of the signals are not available (see Geopsy: Database). Particularly, the sampling frequency (or sampling period) is strictly required by Geopsy to create time series. Therefore this information has to be added in the corresponding table field by editing the table or by setting header information.

Moreover, the sorting procedure applied when using any Geopsy Tool requires the Name of the station and the Component. Without this information, since Geopsy is stacking the signals with the same Name, Component and Receiver coordinates, all the traces will be stacked in the case of an ASCII column file without header that will not lead to the awaited results. Name, Component and Receiver coordinates must be therefore modified by editing the table.

Note: Name of stations are automatically filled with default names when using the option Set "Rxxx" as name in the Preferences. In this case, the previous problem does not raise.
