Geopsy: Import signal files

This section explains how to import signals into Geopsy. Signals can be imported from files (list of supported formats), from a SeedLink remote connection and from a CityShark flash card.

Importing signals

To load signals click on the right arrow of the Import Signals icon . Alternatively you can select File menu and select Import signals. There are four options to import signals (see the list in the figure on the right):

• File

Select the File option to open one or more data files located on your computer (or external hardware). Several data formats are supported by Geopsy.

• Directory Monitoring

Select the Directory Monitoring option, you have to choose a directory to automatically load all the files of this directory.

• Seed stream

Select the Seed stream option to access a real time data streem from a SeedLink remote connection.

• Cityshark card

Select the Cityshark card option to load data from a CityShark flash card.

Note that clicking on this icon lead to open a database and do not allow to import signal files.
