SciFigs: multicolumn file

A multicolumn file has in ASCII the information needed in different columns that are separated by spaces. If a line has a # in the beginning it is skipped, since it is considered as a remark. If you want to add more than a set of information (e.g. Dispersion Curve) you just add it below the first data set separating them by a line with a #. These are the default values for the descriptors/separators but they can be defined as well through when importing the multi column file.
