Options in Select pop-up menu

The Time-Select.png pop-up menu is used to determine which action is performed in the window selection process.

Select actions

A click on Toolbox Select alone.png runs the Auto selection process, without going trough the pop-up menu.

The pop-up menu is obtained by clicking on Toolbox Select arrow.png

  • Auto: windows are selected automatically using the current windowing criteria.
  • Add: manually add windows. With the cursor, select a zone in the signal display where windows have to be added.

Any existing window already existing in the selected zone will not be affected.

Note: a window is added only if the current window selection criteria are fulfilled.

  • Remove: manually remove windows. With the cursor, select a zone in the signal display where windows have to the removed.
  • Inverse: select the windows that were rejected in a previous selection process (example).

When no windowing has been performed, executing Inverse will select windows without applying the windowing criteria.

  • Clear: automatically remove all windows.
  • Load: load windows from previous processing stored in a name.log file.

The star (*) in the Select button

Select has not been used yet

When the windowing has not yet been performed with the current parameters, a "*" is displayed besides Select.

Select has already been used

When a windowing has already been performed with the current parameters, the "*" is no longer displayed besides Select. When the windowing parameters are modified, the "*" is displayed again.
