The Konno and Ohmachi (1998) smoothing id defined by the following function: , where:
- f is the frequency
- fc is the central frequency
- b is the bandwidth coefficient.
As the Konno and Ohmachi smoothing function preserves the different number of points at low and high frequency, it use is strongly recommended for works on frequency analysis.
