Merge pop-up window.

Merge, reached from the Waveform menu, merges a signal or a group of signals from the signals in the active signal viewer.

By clicking on Merge, a pop-up window appears with the following options:

  • Merging signals by station and components (Yes option). Geopsy looks for all the signal with the same station name and component name and merges them
  • Merging all signals together (No option).

Merge is used to get a unique trace from several time blocks.

  • In case of overlap between each blocks, Merge provides the sum of the signals.
  • It is able to handle time gaps only if the duration of the gap is an integer multiple of the sampling time step.

Merge creates new temporary signals in the active viewer.
