Merge, reached from the Waveform menu, merges a signal or a group of signals from the signals in the active signal viewer.
By clicking on Merge, a pop-up window appears with the following options:
- Merging signals by station and components (Yes option). Geopsy looks for all the signal with the same station name and component name and merges them
- Merging all signals together (No option).
Merge is used to get a unique trace from several time blocks.
- In case of overlap between each blocks, Merge provides the sum of the signals.
- It is able to handle time gaps only if the duration of the gap is an integer multiple of the sampling time step.
Merge modifies the temporary signals in the active viewer.
