Dear Marc
I will realy appreciate it, if you could please explain about spectrum rotate and H/V rotate and what ever we may understand about the diagrams coming from the results.
Thanks

spectrum rotate and H/V rotate
Hi Farshad,
For the spectrum rotate, frankly speaking, I don't know precisely its application. It represents the spectrum power in all directions.
For H/V rotate, you can observe whether the H/V spectrum is the same for all orientations or not. If it is constant, there are good chances that the ground structure is 1D and that the noise wave field is homogeneous. In practice, this is not the case, the H/V shows slight differences between distinct azimuth. It can come from a non-symmetric wave field or from the structure itself. Alone the H/V is not able to distinguish those two phenomenons.
These are relatively new tools, maybe from practical experience more interesting information can be extracted.
Cheers,
Marc
