I'm having trouble parametrizing an ellipticity curve from an HVSR measure. I just can't find a good match between theoric and experimental curves.
I am guessing that a problem might be that when importing the experimental curve on Dinver it is converted on the Y axis to degrees.
Is there a way to see the curve in the traditional format (H/V) - frequency).
i have tried with the older version of the geopsypack but still, It imports the curve in DEG.
dinver ellipticity Deg vs H/V
Re: dinver ellipticity Deg vs H/V
Hi,
Can you post a snapshot of your imported curve? Once things are correctly converted to degrees, it is for better than the usual way of plotting ellipticity. In particular for the inversion, the values going to infinite for a null vertical component are difficult to handle.
Best regards,
Marc

here's a snapshot of the curve.
I've made several tests with different curves and hundreds of models loaded into dinver but still struggling to find a good match.
this is the best model I can have which is way too far from something acceptable. I assume that for 1D waves measures is way much easier to find a better model, but I'm also assuming Dinver is not suitable for 3D measures inversion.

Hi,
I can't see the image. Apparently the attachment is missing. Any idea?
