Parameter file for H/V batch processing

Hi Marc, I have been using geopsy-hv to compute my data in batch mode. I have used the attached parameter file, but when I compare the results of .hv from command line vs using the GUI, the values are different. I get more windows numbers using the command line, I am concerned that something is wron...

Re: Windows command line

Hi, I have used the new Geopsy version to calculate H/V, I have compared the results calculated with the same version of geopsy-hv and just using the database vs. listing the files, and I get slightly different values in the number of windows and also the amplitudes after the second decimal number. ...

Re: Windows command line

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the update. I wondered what command I should use now instead of -db for the list of files? I use geopsy-hv -db filename -param filename

what is the modification I should make now? Thanks a lot!

Re: Windows command line

Hi Marc, I wondered if there is any way to create the database for geopsy-hv using the command line instead of using the GUI? When I run only 1 station data using geopsy-hv, it works well but when I give it a larger database consisting of a few more stations it stops. (screenshot attached). Thanks, ...

HVSR frequency band

Hello, I run HVSR on data and filter it for example up to 25 Hz (under the time windows tab). Then I set frequency sampling to 0.5-125 Hz under the output tab. in the HVSR plot, I can still see peaks around 100 Hz, despite filtering signals up to 25 Hz. I am wondering what is the reason for that? do...

Reliable Peak

Hi, when using the H/V method in Geopsy, is the selected peak frequency reliable based on SESAME guideline criteria? or we have to check those criteria ourselves to select a reliable peak? it seems that the amplitude (H/V value) of a reliable peak should be more than 2, which is not the case in the ...

Windows command line

Hi,

I am wondering if I can use Windows command line for some batch processing (e.g. cutting traces for many days)? on the website, it looks like it is only available for Linux users.

Thank you!
