Re: Active FK

Hi, Each output plot is associated to one seismic event. First of all, check the seismic event table (right click on the toolbar if it is not yet visible). Each event is identified by its time of occurrence and a location. When you select your records for processing, all "matching" events ...

Re: joint inversion Rayleigh and Love

Poisson's ratio profile is designed for that purpose. If you do not consider the relation between Vp and Vs, leave a single layer with reasonable limits like the default one (0.2 to 0.5). If you want to get more control over the relationship, reduce the range, eventually with particular ranges for e...

Re: Bug report from gpdcreport

Hi,

After removing all .conf.lock.rmlock files, does the problem occurred again?
There were maybe created after an incident (an abrupt shutdown,...). Time stamps in the future are due to a modification of the internal time clock.

Best regards,
Marc

Re: Parameter file for H/V batch processing

Hi, I tested this issue under 3.5.2 with your test.txt as parameters (only changing the time range to fit my dataset). Effectively there are some issue regarding the filter used in the anti-triggering. The results are not the same between the GUI and the command line because parameters are not corre...

Re: The software crash

Hi Peng Zhao, From the bug report, I can see that you are running version 3.4.2. Have you ever tried with 3.5.2? I can also see that you have a huge amount of cores on your machine. If the bug persists with 3.5.2, you can try to run geopsy with a limited number of threads (8 for example). Inside Geo...

Re: MASW bug

Hi, I was able to reproduce your error. The "step value" for velocity sampling is far too high. I did not notice it at first. Switch to "step count" to check the number of samples along the velocity axis. For frequency it is also relatively high. For a log scale, the default valu...

Re: MASW bug

You can try to increase the minimum distance to 1. Did you try the conventional FK? A high resolution with a high damping is nearly equivalent.

Re: Python and Cpp interface installation problem/bugs

The plotting error found in the Docker environment is due to Qt 5. The plotting Python module GeopsyPySciFigs is not working properly with Qt 5. After inquiring, it requires at least Qt 6.5. This is now tested at the configuration stage. The module is disabled if this condition is not met.

Re: max2curve in 3.5.2

Hi, max2curve is supposed to work for HVTFA results only. All the other features are no longer maintained. They were moved to gphistogram and gpviewmax . Analysis of HVTFA should be moved to gphistogram as well, but it is still pending. If you experience malfunctioning in 3.5.2, can you post an exam...

Re: Python and Cpp interface installation problem/bugs

Hi Gurjeet, Thanks for providing this Dockerfile, things can be clearly tested. I had little practical experience playing with docker . I learned a bit. After building the container, I faced the same error as you. In the configuration line, you have to specify the path where the file "Python.h&...

Re: Laterally constraint inversion

Hi Zibi, The weight is used to combine misfits of distinct natures (e.g. based on dispersion curve, ellipticity curve or HV peak). It is not assigned individually to each dispersion curve, so it will be of little help in your case. Some ten years ago, I investigated how two neighbouring dispersion c...

Re: Dinver Related: How to input a Dispersion target curve containing freq, Vs and Std deviation

Strange. I checked with your curve without getting any problem except that standard deviations are not visible. This is a minor issue with <=3.5.2 that will be fixed in 3.5.3. It can be fixed by clicking on Legend button and by setting the width of pen to something else than 0. If nothing is loaded,...
