Hi Marc, now all works fine.
Thanks

N/V or E/V it is possible to do?
Hi Marc, I wonder if it is possible to obtain the spectral ratio from only one horizontal component (N / V or E / V). In many works I have noticed that this option is often used to enhance the non 1D response conditions of the geological context. I tried to load only 2 components (V and 1H) but Geop...

Re: Axes in particle motion plots
Hi Marc, As suggested I have manually expanded but as you can see the plot is empty and this happens on all releases after 2.9. The one shown is related to release 3.3.3. and the same happens with 3.3.4. So I have to keep several releases active on my PC to take advantage of all the potential of Geo...

3.3.4. release still crashes saving hv file
Hi Marc I downloaded the Windows 3.3.4 release but it is still not possible to save the hv files and the software crashes. Except release 3.1.0. no other series 3 allows saving hv files and is capable of reading .log files saved with that release. The following message appears in the log window: Add...

Re: Ellipticity joint inversion vith DC using Dinver 3.3.0. and following relaeases
Thanks Marc, first of all I want to confirm to you that the contradictory results of the misfit.jpg image always refer to the same input model and the strange thing I wanted to introduce was just that. Therefore I thought there was a bug in the program. I continued the experimentation and found bett...

Geopsy (3.3.3) doesn't save the *.hv file
Hi Marc, I downloaded today the 3.3.3 release and unfortunately not even this one can save * .hv files. I was convinced, after your assurances, that this function was fixed, but I see that it is not so. Too bad, I hope you can solve this problem which is very important otherwise all relaeses after 2...

Re: Axes in particle motion plots
Hi Marc, In version 3.3.2 that I have installed it seems to me that this tool does not work: no plot appears as you can see from the image. The mistake of the orientation of the axes observed in this case is also valid in the Waveform - Rotate components (where however the direction of the anticlock...

Re: Geopsy (3.3.0-1-2) H/V tool doesn't read the *.log file
Hi Marc, I have been using the same header since 2005, extracted from your own .saf file. So I'm sending you one this year. Together with the .log file of the H / V tool obtained with the release snapshot 0.0.0 (considering that 3.3.2 does not save the H / V result). If I try to upload this file wit...

how can i get the dispersion curves and ellipticity from Dinver?
Hi Marc, how can i get the dispersion and ellipticity curves from Dinver? using gpdcreport I can extract the inverted ground profiles, but the dispersion curves, if I'm not mistaken, with gpdc are those of froward modeling and the same is for ellipticity curves with gpell. Is there a way to obtain j...

Re: Ellipticity joint inversion vith DC using Dinver 3.3.0. and following relaeases
Hi Marc, After your answer I uploaded an ellipticity file calculated by HVTFA as you can see from the attached images. In the first figure the second column of the parser shows the amplitude (atang) of the ellipticity and the corresponding graph. I have associated the ellipticity curves picture of t...

Re: Geopsy (3.3.0-1-2) H/V tool doesn't read the *.log file
Thanks Marc. I realized, after writing the post, that strangely not even the releases of Geopsy, used to save the HV files (snapshot and 2.9.0), could correctly read the previously created log file due to an incorrect reading of the saf file time. This problem can be solved by inserting in the table...

Geopsy (3.3.0-1-2) H/V tool doesn't read the *.log file
Hi Marc, I found that Geopsy v. 3.3.0. and later releases do not read log files created with previous releases (H/V tool) and give error messages like this Loading C: /Lavori/2020/Cortina_RioGatto/N_2864.saf ... Unrecognized component name for SAF format: "v" Unrecognized component name for SAF form...

Ellipticity joint inversion vith DC using Dinver 3.3.0. and following relaeases
Hi Marc, Using Dinver from Geopsy releases 3.3.0. and following I verified that the ellipticity curve is loaded in degrees (in absolute or signed value) instead of in amplitude as in previous versions. When I check the result, the plot appears with only the theoretical curves and the measured curve ...

Re: GeoPsy crashes when attempting to save results
Hi Marc,
I tried today to save the H/V results with 3.3.2, but the program crash.
I don't know why. It happens with all releases with Geopsyland.
I think I'll forced to come back to snapshot 0.0.0. a more stable release.
Luigi

Re: gphistogram have an anomalous grapfic output
Hi Marc, first of all sorry for the silly question about how to enter the peak frequency data in Dinver (a quick inspection made me immediately understand that I shouldn't have done it ... after all the years I used Dinver). What puts me in trouble is, if I understand correctly, you suggest to be ve...
