Re: Diagonal lines on results of the conventional FK

Several remarks after having a look at your .max file. the shape of your array is not optimal: it is rather elongated which provides a good resolution power along direction 25 deg. but rather poor in the perpendicular direction. We always try to get similar responses in all directions which is obtai...

Re: Bug report cannot be sent

Hi Martin,

Did you try with 3.3.2? I think that most of the issues have been solved with this version.

Re: Windows installation

Hi Sorry for responding so late. If you want to compile under Windows. You first have to install Qt 5. I use Qt 5.12.3 but it should work also with Qt 5.14. Qt 5.15 has never been tested. Install Qt from the graphical wizard. Under Windows, you can also install git. Even if you do not access to the ...

Re: SPAC use

Hi,

This is probably too late. In which application do you get this message? In spac2disp? In dinver? Normally fresh .target file generated by geopsy contain only one autocorr curve per ring.

Re: How to read .page file in other software?

Did you try to use command options? Run "figue -h all" to get them. There are options to directly convert .page files into pdf, png,... Or to merge several page files into a single one. .page format is a compressed xml format. So it can be parsed by any other application. tar xvfpz your.page It cont...

Re: gphistogram have an anomalous grapfic output

Hi Luigi, I'm fine with your spac curve and the selection you did in spac2disp. Just make sure that kmin does not correspond to wavelength too large compared to your array aperture. Roughly speaking, your array has a 500 m aperture. A kmin of 0.0015 corresponds to a wavelength of 4189 m (lambda=2*pi...

Re: Output path not visible on MacOs

Hi Alex, In the GUI, you can export results inside the result sheet. For Linux and Window, it is in the top menu, "Tools" if I remember well. On Mac, you have to right click anywhere on the sheet to get an equivalent of the top menus. If you want to process more automatically, you can use geopsy-hv ...

Re: DinverExt geopsy3.3.0

For each inversion thread a sub-directory is created inside the working directory specified in the target options. One file 'parameter' file is created in each sub-directory. The current directory of each sub-process is set to the corresponding sub-directory. Your process must read 'parameter' in it...

Re: SPAC and spac2disp doesn't run with the 3.3.2. release

Hi Luigi, Thanks for your reports. 1) I've just checked SPAC on 3.3.2 and it runs nicely. Is there any message in the log? Can you send a snapshot of the parameters (all tabs including rings)? There is maybe something linked to particular value. 2) If you increase kmin to something positive, the nex...

Re: DinverExt geopsy3.3.0

Hi Matthias, There were a few bugs around dinver and dinverext in release 3.3.2 (and probably previous also): Initialization of Forward object was not correct. Try to run a dispersion curve inversion with Ns0=0, you will a get a crash while starting the Neighborhood because at least one model is req...

Re: Selection of Profiles from a Specified Misfit Range after Inversion Using Dinver

You can use gpdcreport from the command line. Let's say that you generated the report file my.report gpdcreport my.report -m 0.5 -rand 1000 You will get the 1000 best models with a misfit lower that 0.5. If there are more than 1000 models available you will get a random selection. There is no option...

Re: Geopsy help! the tools are disappeared!

Hi Luigi, Open GeopsyLand. In the terminal, you can enter geopsy -clear-tools Then, start geopsy from the left icon in GeopsyLand. Is it better? Are you sure that everything was deleted in C:/geopsy/bin before you did the installation? When running several versions on the same machine, it is better ...

Re: Bug report cannot be sent

Hi Luigi,

The bug report facility has to be checked. I know it is not working properly.
For spac2disp, I was not aware of the problem. Thanks for your report. It is a question of days before I release 3.3.2 because MASW active FK has also some blocking issues. spac2disp will be fixed.
