Re: N/V or E/V it is possible to do?

Hi Luigi, In the H/V options you can choose the way horizontal components are combined. Among the possible choices, you have "directional" with an azimuth: 0 deg. is for North and 90 deg. is for East, but you are free to choose any arbitrary angle. There is also the "Rotate" tools for spectra and H/...

Re: Geopsy 3.3.4 Still H/V Save Results Crashing

Hi,

The true win64-3.3.4 is now available for download. win64-3.3.3 is no longer available.
I checked manually that export of HV results works correctly.
Sorry again for this long delay between 3.3.2 and a working 3.3.4

Best regards,

Marc

Re: Axes in particle motion plots

See this topic for the probable reason why it is not solved in 3.3.3 and 3.3.4.
I'll add a note in topic 414 when the new archive are available.
Sorry for these long lasting errors. I did not suspect such an error.

Best regards,

Marc

Re: Geopsy 3.3.4 Still H/V Save Results Crashing

Hi Tom, Effectively the release shipped within pack 3.3.4 is in fact 3.3.2, due to an error in the packaging. And you are right, the bug is still there because there is no difference between package versions 3.3.2, 3.3.3 and 3.3.4. I'm checking why this is so, and I will regenerate these packages. T...

Re: title FK graph

Hi Riccardo, I can add a 'name' property to events. Upon loading a SEG-2 file, a event is created and I can set its name to the file name. People that prefer absolute time and position as name can set the event name as empty. This name can be automatically shown in the MASW labels. I did think of th...

Re: Geopsy 3.3.4 Still H/V Save Results Crashing

Hi Tom, Thanks for your report. From the report, I can see that you are running 3.3.2 that has effectively this bug. Make sure you remove all previous versions you installed. Sometimes, there might be plugin paths that remains from previous installations. To clear them: Open GeopsyLand (from 3.3.4 r...

Re: lack of tools in geopsy 3.2.2 and vars

Hi,

Both crash reports were generated with old release < 3.0.0
These releases are no longer supported and they cannot be fixed. To get bug fixed, you have to run version 3.3.3. And eventually submit bugs found only with this version.

Re: fk parameter) 'RELATIVE_THRESHOLD (%) = '

Hi

N_MAXIMA is set to 1, hence only the very best peak is kept in .max file. RELATIVE_THRESHOLD becomes effective only if there is more than 1 peak selected. By default N_MAXIMA is set to 2147483647 (INT_MAX).

Re: Bug report cannot be sent

Hi,

The facility for collecting crash reports has not worked for a long time. Still need to repair it but time goes fast. I checked with 3.3.4-preview with no problem. When does it happen? Right on start-up? Can you send me your .taget file?

Re: title FK graph

Hi Riccardo, Theoretically speaking, everything is possible from the code point of view. Now within the current interface, there is no way to set the file in an automatic way. You can edit the titles and the text you want. To be honest, I do not like to add too many options. Usually from refraction ...

Re: Geopsy (3.3.3) doesn't save the *.hv file

Hi Luigi,

I've just tested it again under Linux with 3.3.4-preview, and it works fine. I will check it tomorrow under Windows and with 3.3.3.

Re: What is the interpolation that geopsy uses for the H/V summary profile

Hi, There are several output plots in the summary. Are you talking about the cross-section with a color scale? It assumes that H/V station are more or less organised along a line. With a linear regression the best fitting line is found and coordinates are projected on it. If the station are not in l...

Re: how can i get the dispersion curves and ellipticity from Dinver?

Hi Luigi, gpspac outputs the autocorrelation curves from a 1D model in a similar way as gpdc and gpell. gpsort sorts curves, for instance from the output of gpdc (see example in 'gpsort -h'). To be honest it is long time that I've not used those two commands. Have a look at gpdcreport options ('-h a...
